In this unprecedented time, education must shift to prepare young people for jobs that do not yet exist, & technologies that have not yet been invented. There are no memorization tests for the most pivotal questions of our time, such as how do we build just, equitable futures? This interactive workshop provides methods, including an innovative game, that utilizes time travel to develop the crucial skills of imagination, collaboration, critical thinking, curiosity, empathy & more - and how to apply them to self, class, PBL, and beyond. This game was designed to be youth-led, and an antithesis to the alarming levels of loneliness and hopelessness, and to the great rewiring of childhood and adolescent brains from social media and shifting societal norms.
